So are you sitting by the fireplace with your presents all open and a cup of eggnog or something? Yes? Good, cuz I have a release for you guys.
Today, we have the end-volume extra from Otona and a doujinshi that Nekota self-published, also about her Otona characters, Boku wa Sunao Ja Nai.
While you're enjoying your presents, we also have some news for you: the first volume of Seven Days has been licensed. The girls over at Aarinfantasy have stated that their policy means they're going to drop it, so we're going to go along with their decision. Please support the first volume when it gets to store shelves, and hopefully the second volume as well. We'll also be keeping the downloads for volume one up for a little longer--we'll probably be taking them down around New Year's, so if you want them, you better grab them now.
Anyway, that's all for today, so happy holidays, everyone!
EDIT: To reiterate, since people seem confused about whether we're doing volume 2 of Seven Days or not: we are not. We are effectively dropping the whole project, as is our partner in this joint, Aarinfantasy.

Although I understand that you may be unhappy that we chose to drop a project you love, please respect our decision; it is, after all, our time and money that we put into scanlation, which we see as a hobby, not a job, and certainly not a business. And in fact, we did manage to scanlate the whole of volume 1 before they licensed it.
If you would like to discuss this further, feel free to check our about section for our group email, and I would do my best to address your concerns.

I'm both sad and glad to see Seven Days licensed. Such a good story deserves to be. I just hope the publishers follow through and complete it.

I understand your pov, but dearest, first you need to know that we spend our money on mangas we only see cover of, and all this to bring scanlations to all of you, hoping you'll love them as much as we do. We get nothing in exchange, just your thanks and the time you spent doing that. See my point?
Now, I do like AF way of doing things, I enjoy whole volumes, but they do have more staff than we do. Are you willing to help us pull a whole volume every week? Are you willing to give up your time to sit and edit and translate and proofread and clean? It ain't easy, and you won't get anything from doing it, but only hope others like what you did, how fast you did and not caring if you broke a finger, were depressed, spend your whole salary or anything else. So my point is, I like and respect how each time works, and since unlike the publishers we don't get anything but your appreciation back, I think we deserve at least a bit of respect from the others enjoying our work.
Last but not least, if we didn't dare to go and pick new series (even ones that come in magazines, and that means ONE chapter monthly, bi-monthly, etc.) no one would get to appreciate the work of so many talented artists, and publishers won't know them either, or know if they're popular... so yeah.
That said, HAPPY NEW YEAR for you ALL! :D
